Crowdfunder

  • We are asking you to help us raise $30,550 through the Chuffed crowdfunder platform to deliver the first outputs and activities of this permamusic project. They are:
  • $12,000 to train young people in the Kakuma and Nakivale refugee settlements (in Kenya and Uganda) in 2024-25 and to help develop life-changing permaculture learning and demonstration farms there;
  • $4400 to create a first PermaYouth album working with and produced by the same young people in Kakuma and Nakivale refugee settlements
  • $4400 to create a first PermaMusic album in Spanish, produced in Columbia using traditional latin instrumentation

  • $5750 to create a first PermaReggae album, as a co-creative album that is being written and produced during a 3 month permaculture design course with young people in Britain

  • $2000 for improving, developing and 2 years admin for this PermaMusic website, as a hub for accessing and enjoying PermaMusic and related education and content, and including to enable us to create a platform to enable global PermaMusic collaborations.
